Summers or Churchill: Who will go first?

Jonah Goldberg at The Corner on National Review Online points out the dishonesty of academics in their defense of Ward Churchill by comparing it to the attacks on Summers. Who will go first? My bet is Churchill, even though many in academia sympathize with him, but for the reasons listed in my previous Churchill post.

  1. As an alumin of the University of Colorado at Boulder I must say, based on my experience with the adminstration there, including Charles Middleton and Kaye Howe, Churchill won’t be turned out, as he should be.

The MSM tried to make this a First Amendment issue. It isn’t. They tried to make it an academic freedoms issue. It isn’t. Ron Tupa of Boulder (D), tried to make it a partisan political issue. It isn’t.

What it is is the demise of higher education in the United States of America, courtesy of the likes of Ward Churchill, a fascist ideologue.

I will be adding you to my blog roll, if there are no objections.

    Thank you for your time.
